KAPPA KAPPA PSI

Kappa Kappa Psi is a fraternal organization that promotes the advancement of college and university bands through dedicated service and support to bands; comprehensive education; leadership opportunities; and recognition; for the benefit of its members and society.
The Kappa Kappa Psi Rho Chapter at The Tulane University of Louisiana was originally chartered on October 18th, 1926, as the 17th Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi. Little is known about those first years, but it is known that Rho went inactive in the 1940s. In Spring 2009 Rho officially entered the Kappa Kappa Psi colonization process and began its long journey to reinstallation. After months of drafting documents, planning service events, and learning about the fraternity, the Rho Colony became the Rho Chapter once again on February 20th, 2010. Since last February, the Rho Chapter has hit the ground running.
Through service to the musical ensembles of Tulane University, the brothers of the Rho Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi constantly strive for the highest responsibility, deepest loyalty, and strongest leadership. It is with this spirit of passion and service that the Rho Chapter hopes to continue to grow and learn in the following years.
