Homecoming, Road Trip, Band Day, OH MY!

A HUGE "Thank You" to all of our fans who came out to support the TUMB and Green Wave Football at our 2016 Homecoming, and an EVEN HUGER "Thank You" to all of the TUMB Alumni who returned to Tulane to play with the Spirit of the Green Wave one more time! We had 50 former members of the TUMB going from Class of 2016 all the way back to the Class of 1952! The TUMB and Alumni Band performed an arrangement of a classic New Orleans tune, "Hey Pocky A-Way" by The Meters. The success of the current TUMB is a direct result of the work put in by our alumni and we can't thank ALL of our alumni enough for their dedication and contributions to the band!

This weekend, the TUMB takes its show on the road to the Green Wave at UCF game! This game was rescheduled from October 7th due to Hurricane Matthew's impact on the East Coast. We're excited to see our friends at UCF and to cheer on the Green Wave in an exciting conference matchup!

The annual TUMB Band Day is November 19th! Visit the Band Day page for more info and to sign up for the mailing list! If you are a band or choir director, we want to see your group on Benson Field with the TUMB! Give your students an opportunity to rehearse and perform with a collegiate marching ensemble at an NCAA Division I College Football game in front of thousands of fans, and to work with some of New Orleans' finest musicians and educators.
